Job search and offer email

Senior Product Designer at Mullenlowe U.S

Redesigned in 2020. Still in production, unchanged, six years later.

CHALLENGE

Search wasn't getting real engagement. The interface wasn't clear enough for people to trust it.

SOLUTION

I designed a new approach and took it straight to the UX team: search split into keyword search and state-filtered browse, predictive results after two characters, location-based popular searches, and a resume prompt for anyone who hadn't uploaded one. The team backed it and sold it to the client.

I paired it with a redesign of the job-offer email, arguably the most important screen in the product, since that's how people actually receive their offers. The old version wasn't scannable. The new one is clear and personalized.

No dashboard metric to point to, but both have run unchanged since 2020. Work that doesn't hold up gets replaced fast.

Looking for a Principal role or fractional design leadership. Glad to talk if something sounds like a fit.
